Narrow-leaved mock privet - Phillyrea angustifolia

The narrow-leaved filirea is a typical species of the Mediterranean region, especially common on the Tyrrhenian coast. It is a shrub of the olive family, a tree also called false olive. It grows in heavy, dry, even calcareous soil, in sunny places. It's easy to grow, easy to keep in shape, and loved by bees.
